Code of Conduct

Athlete and Parent Code of Conduct

Port Moody Amateur Hockey Association is committed to fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all players, parents, and participants. At registration, all members agreed to abide by our Athlete Code of Conduct and Parent Code of Conduct, which outline the expectations for behavior both on and off the ice.

These documents are essential in ensuring a supportive and enjoyable hockey experience for everyone. Please take a moment to review them:

  • Athlete Code of Conduct (PDF)
Highlights the responsibilities of players to demonstrate respect, fairness, and sportsmanship while prioritizing safety and personal growth.
  • Parent Code of Conduct (PDF)
Defines the role of parents in supporting their child’s hockey journey, emphasizing encouragement, positive role modeling, and respect for all participants.

By following these codes, we can work together to create an environment where every athlete thrives. For more information, click the links above or contact the association.

The Port Moody Minor Hockey Association acknowledges that we play and enjoy hockey on Indigenous lands. Our home rink resides on the ancestral and unceded territories of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qʼʷa:n̓ ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), and Stó:lō (Sto:lo) Peoples, in what is known today as Port Moody.
