Try Hockey

This is the best option for families that are unsure if their kid wants to play hockey and would like to try it for the first time.

However, we should note this is only a 5-day summer program and does not include registration for the full/regular hockey season (Sept-Mar). If you also register via our New Player registration, the $295 you pay for Try Hockey will be refunded! Every new player gets a $350 Hockey Shop store credit. It is highly likely that we wont have enough open spots for all of our new players aged 7+ so the earlier you register as a new player the higher on the waitlist you will be, we hold all new & transferring players on a waitlist until mid-July to give roster priority to our returning players.

Players must prove residency in Port Moody, Anmore or Belcarra.

Only players new to minor hockey qualify for discounted pricing and equipment credit.

Assistance grants are also available via KidSport, Athletics4Kids, Jumpstart or Hockey Canada Assist Fund.
