Player Registration
Registration is now open for the 2024-25 PMAHA season! Important details are below:
STEP 1: REGISTER FOR 2024-25 SEASON
- All 2024-25 season registrations (U7-U18) include a PMAHA Apparel Set of a hoodie, hat and practice jersey (choice of black, white or red) (see here for sizing info)
- Early Bird rates are in effect June 1-30 2023 after which a Late Fee will apply (see here for fees)
Returning players
- If you played for PMAHA last season, you are a RETURNING player
- BEFORE YOU START you will need your Hockey Canada Number (HCR)
- This can be obtained here, Login (reset your password if necessary), Once you are logged in click on My Account in the top right menu
New players
- If you have never played Minor Hockey or are already enrolled in our Learn to Play Program, you are a NEW player
- All new players born 2007-2018 will be waitlisted to allow Returning Players roster priority
- If you are enrolled in Learn to Play/Try Hockey you will see an adjusted Registration fee
Transferring players
- For players transferring from another association you will need to supply proof of residence in Port Moody, Anmore or Belcarra
Step 2: Register for tryouts & camps
- We know that summer plans can change, so to assist with this we will take a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of registration to reserve a spot in our summer programs (remainder payable will be charged on 1st August)
- Once the 2nd payment is processed, no refunds will be issued
A/AA Rep tryouts & summer camps
- Register for A/AA Rep tryouts to play competitive level hockey (an optional upgrade for every registered player). Tryouts often last for at least 3 weeks until completion.
- Our Summer camps run 3 weeks (Aug 12-16, Aug 19-23 and Aug 26-29, 2024 respectively)
- Phase 1 of A/Rep Tryouts will run Aug 26-29 2024 for U13A/U15A/U18A (players must attend at least 1 session in this period to be considered for selection)
- U9 Major and U11A Tryouts will start after return to school and will include a week of development time Aug 26-29 (included in your tryout fees) on a first come first served basis. As this is a bonus ice session, regrettably we may not have enough capacity for every eligible player, but feel free to send a request to registrar@pmaha.com to be waitlisted.
The Port Moody Minor Hockey Association acknowledges that we play and enjoy hockey on Indigenous lands. Our home rink resides on the ancestral and unceded territories of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qʼʷa:n̓ ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), and Stó:lō (Sto:lo) Peoples, in what is known today as Port Moody.
