AGM Resumption – Thurs Jun 26
This notice serves as official notification of the resumption of our Annual General Meeting that was adjourned on May 29 2025.
Following the adjournment of the May 29 AGM, independent legal advice was sought regarding the process for resuming the AGM. It was determined that independent legal advice was necessary in order for the election process to be conducted in a fair and unbiased manner.
It has been confirmed that our bylaws allow for the adjournment and the following email has been prepared based on the legal advice obtained.
MEETING DETAILS:
- Date: Thursday, June 26, 2025
- Time: 6:00 PM (check in will begin prior)
- Location: Inlet Theatre, 100Â Newport Drive, Port Moody
- Purpose: Continuation of the adjourned May 29, 2025 AGM
BUSINESS TO BE CONDUCTED:
The only business that will be transacted at this meeting is the election of directors, which was the unfinished business from our May 29 AGM. The following positions are up for election:
- 1st Vice-President
- 2nd Vice-President (1 year remaining)
- 3rd Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer (1 year remaining)
- Facilities Manager
- Equipment Manager
- Registrar
- Tournament Director
